First in the series is what collectors refer to as the "trailing f" button used through 1943, worn proudly by Duncan, a stunning brown alpaca bear. This button featured the word "Steiff" with the final "f" extended into a long arc under the company name. With his hand-stitched nose, shaved muzzle and deep-set boot button eyes, Duncan is the perfect beginning to the series a "must-have" as you build your collection of future trademark button bears.
